When President Michelle Obama was elected in 2008, she made a splash with her first gold handbags.
The first one, made from hand-sewn gold leaf, sold out within days.
Obama had a second handbag in 2013.
But the president’s fashionistas took to social media to argue that the handbags were not genuine.
The new president took to Instagram to say the new handbags represented the future, which she hoped to create.
The backlash was swift.
Celebrities and even Obama’s own daughters criticized the bags.
A spokesperson for the president responded to the backlash by saying that the new bags were meant to be a reminder of what is possible.
The backlash came after a new president was sworn in, and people began to think the new President was the new face of the brand.
So, the brand was back on the ground, as the new president and his daughter Ivanka wore the handbag on the first day of their administration.
How the controversy got started.
On Feb. 21, 2017, President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning transgender people from using the bathrooms of their choice.
The move was widely criticized by people, businesses and organizations that wanted to allow transgender people to use the bathroom of their gender identity.
Some groups, including the American Civil Liberties Union and the Human Rights Campaign, criticized the executive order for being discriminatory and for being based on political correctness.
When Trump took office in January, he issued a new executive order that extended a policy barring transgender people and transgender employees from using bathrooms that correspond to the sex on their birth certificate.
In February, Ivanka Trump said that she would be using the ladies room in the Trump International Hotel & Tower in New York City.
Ivanka Trump, pictured, is the new owner of the Trump Organization, which is run by her father.
The announcement of the new policy sparked controversy.
People and businesses were upset that Ivanka Trump and her family had to use women’s restrooms in the hotel.
The outcry also sparked the hashtag #IStandWithIvanka, which has since gained over 2 million tweets.
In May, the White House announced that Ivanka was to be an executive producer of the NBCUniversal-produced reality series The Apprentice.
During the 2016 presidential campaign, Donald Trump’s eldest daughter Ivanka Trump had to apologize for a tweet that referenced the Confederate flag.
She apologized after the video was leaked to the media.
After the president released his executive order barring transgender Americans from using public bathrooms, many businesses and politicians were upset because it violated their business contracts with the government.
Many businesses and companies felt that it would have a negative effect on their bottom lines, since many people had already left the business because of the president signing the executive orders.
What the controversy is not about.
As Trump’s popularity grew, so did the controversy.
Some businesses took to Twitter to share a hashtag that began with #IstandWithIvanka.
This hashtag became an immediate meme.
It became a way for the public to talk about the issue and to say that they are supporting the new administration and their new brand.
Trump and his wife, Melania, have made no secret that they love the business.
They have been spotted at the White Houses opening ceremonies and at the inauguration.
They were also spotted in a video that showed them enjoying a dinner with their children.
In August, Ivanka announced that she was joining the Trumps’ personal security team.
It was a big deal for Ivanka because the president usually does not have someone with her level of security.
The White House later said that the security team would be comprised of Trump’s family members, including his sons Eric and Barron.
There are still many questions about the controversy and what exactly is behind it.
Is the new presidential handbag meant to celebrate the future of women’s rights?
Is the president trying to show that he is more inclusive than previous presidents?
Is this just another example of a brand that is being pushed into the public’s spotlight because of Trump?
