NEW YORK — New York Times reporter David Sanger has been given a new handbag that he says will go a long way in his quest to find a new, bigger one.
Sanger, the reporter who has covered President Donald Trump since the 1980s, says the new bag will “take up less space” and offer a “full view” of his hands and face.
Sangers new bag, which he is calling the “Bigger, Better Handbag,” will go on display in New York City’s Times Square on Monday.
It will feature a unique, full-length mirror, two adjustable straps, a padded front and back and a removable handle.
The new hand bag will also have a “towel holder” on the side that can hold a towel.
The bag will go for $3,200.
The Times said the bag will be unveiled Monday at the newspaper’s headquarters.
